Since the first Danish Warmblood horse was inspected in the United States in 1993, Danish judges have regularly visited North American breeders. This year's tour includes inspections of approximately 70 horses at seven locations, with one stop in Canada and six across the United States.

The tour began in the Niagara Falls area before continuing to Maine, South Carolina, Florida, and Washington State.

Early impressions from the judges are very positive, with a high overall quality of horses presented. At the recent inspection hosted by FEI trainer and rider Bobby Murray at Freeport Equestrian Centre in Maine, one of the highlights was the 5-year-old mare Aalykkes Superiella  DWB (So Perfect x Tailormade Attention). Bred by Stutteri Aalykke in Denmark and now owned by Cara Kettenbach, the mare impressed the judges with her elegance, femininity, and three excellent gaits.

Presented by Shane Diel, Aalykkes Superiella earned an impressive riding test score of 820 points, securing a well-deserved Bronze Medal.

With several inspection sites still to come, the judges look forward to meeting more dedicated breeders and seeing the continued development of Danish Warmblood horses throughout North America.
