US-owned DWB stallion qualified for the finals 25-09-2019 - 08:15

The US-owned Danish Warmblood show jumper stallion, Vong’s Brunello DWB TF scored 8,30 in the qualifier of the Danish Equestrian Federation’s championship for Young Show Jumpers, and is therefore among 51 other 4-year-olds qualified for the finals taking place at the Blue Hors premises in Randbøl, Denmark on October 10-13, 2019.

Within Danish Warmblood it is assessed that approximately 400 show jumper foals are born each year, since the majority of breeders in Denmark are focussing primarily on dressage horses even though the sport is quite comprehensive in both dressage and show jumping.

Out of the 52 4-year-old show jumpers there are 30 DWB’s, and Vong’s Brunello DWB TF is at a shared no 7 in the list of qualifying youngsters. The scores of the qualified 4-year-old horses range from 8,00 to 8,60, and there are several breeding stallions and medal mares among those.

Congrats to Charlotte and Brian Bech-Hansen at Tallin Farm and to the breeder Bjarne Petersen, Bramming. The stallion is by Balou/Con Capitol.

If you are interested in seeing the names and scores of the 4-year-old competitors, you can find the file here.

Among the 5-year-olds, a total of 43 horses are pointed out for the finals, and of these 24 are Danish Warmbloods. Find the list of horses, riders and scores among the 5-y-o’s here.

In the heat of the 6-year-old’s fewer horses are qualified: Out of a total of 27 horses, the DWB horses count 16. Find the list of the 6-year-old’s here.

*UVM in the list marks that the combination was competing in Zangersheide at the World Breeding Young Horse Championships for Show Jumpers Mid-September.
