At Vilhelmsborg, mares and foals selected at regional events will gather and compete for chance to be proclaimed “Best of the Year” in their respective age group and discipline.

Saturday is all about the foals: The best dressage and jumper foals will compete for the four titles as Dressage Filly of the Year, Dressage Colt of the Year, Jumper Filly of the Year and Jumper colt of the Year.

In the evening, it is auction time: 50 hand picked foals of the best quality are up for auction on the DWB Elite Foal Auction. Find more info on the collection and the bidding process HERE

On Sunday, the mares take over the stage. First, the 2-year-old jumper selected from the regional shows get to show their worth in free jumping. Next up is the newly graded jumper mares. They will also be shown in free jumping and compete for bronze, silver or maybe even gold medals.

After this, the time as come for the dressage mares to show their abilities. The 2-year-old mares will be presented by hand and loose in the arena, and the newly graded mares will be presented under saddle.
